What ip address to use if in bridge mode?

I am trying to connect my skype dualphone to the internet.My internet is set to bridge mode.The skype phone internet settings has the option of selecting static or dynamic ip address.As of now i have selected static ip address.I have put the gateway, the primary and secondary DNS but i have kept the ip address blank.My internet is in bridge mode with dhcp disabled.When i try to sign in from the skype phone it says sign in failed.What is going wrong?Do i need to enable dhcp in bridge mode or something else.
