My mind has been strange lately?

Just strange things have been running through it lately. For example I was driving down the highway and my boyfriend and I were coming across a car on the side of the road with it’s emergency lights flashing. I had this fear that when we drove by the guy inside was going to shoot us. Well, I guess I wouldn’t consider it a “fear” but it crossed my mind and I thought about it enough that it made me cringe when we passed the car. Obviously I didn’t get shot but I was curious as to why I’ve been thinking such bizarre things lately.
