A relationship probably won\’t last if you meet once a year?
My gf is moving to UK for Med School. She has the option to stay, but she refuses to stay because she doesn’t think that she can make it to Med School here in Canada after completing her Bachelor’s Degree (she’s only in first year).
She TOTALLY can. And I even found information about her education proving to her that she’ll be better off by studying here.
Anyway. There is no more convincing, and she’s ready to move.
The problem is that we would barely meet once or twice a year. And that too for about 5 hours.
So 5 hours out of 8765 in a year for about 6-7 years.
She thinks this could totally work! She is being so unrealistic. She said that she’s ready to take this on, and that this would work!
With my schedule and her med school, we’ll barely be able to talk in that different time zone! Skype, phone calls, texting, letters are options. But it requires a lot of planning because of the time zone difference and the workload.
But that doesn’t go through her head. She’s taking me for granted now. I’ve given her SO much security that she barely has any feelings of me cheating on her.
And she’s using that to her advantage because she knows that I’ll be sticking to her.
Whereas, she can probably go do stuff in UK and not tell me about it.
What do I do? She thinks this will last, and she’s taking me for granted.
Please no break up advice. I really love her. But sometimes you have to teach a lesson to your partner to put your relationship back into shape.
Vlan and QoS Question?

Vlan and QoS Question?
What is the point of putting all voip phones in a vlan other than your native vlan, then giving all ports acces to both the viop vlan and the native vlan? Isn’t the original reason to use a vlan is to logically separate traffic? If the reason is to utilize QoS, can you explain? Please be specific, I am having a hard time with this concept.

How come and Europe has achieved&invented way more than Asia, Middle East and Africa combined?
FIRST OFF: I am not saying that the rest have not achieved or invented anything, but let’s be realistic, Europeans outnumber them in inventions BIG TIME, let’s not be hypocrites.
Europeans have invented televisions, computers, planes, boats, cars, trains, internet, phones, radios, most (if not all) of the significant things in pop culture today.
There would be no USA, Australia or even most countries of South America, if the Europeans did not discover and colonized them. They would still be like Africa or Middle East if the European man never went there, let’s be honest with the obvious.
I am signing up for Time Warner Cable,is there a way to buy a cable box or HD DVR box to save on monthly cost?

I am signing up for Time Warner Cable,is there a way to buy a cable box or HD DVR box to save on monthly cost?
They advertise 90 a month for internet/phone/TV, but they charge for everything and no one ends up spending 90 a month. If the cable box/DVR is too expensive it obviously isn’t economical.

Broadview Networks OfficeSuite?
Has anyone used Broadview Networks OfficeSuite services?
We are thinking about switching our old phone system for their solution. Supposedly they give you actual phones and voip phone lines. We are currently using Optimum Online for our Internet and phone service and are relatively happy with their service. Reason for switching would be to get new equipment since our phones are pretty old. I also think that having VOIP has a more benefits. I read a bunch of negative reviews on their Internet service, but since we would still use Optimum Online I don’t believe that should affect us. My questions are as follow:
1) Is their VOIP service reliable? How is sound quality?
2) What are your thoughts on equipment they provide?
3) Your experience with their customer service?
4) Tell me about your technical difficulties with them and how quickly it was resolved?
Thank You!

How to replace a router?
Hi guys, my family and I just bought a new cisco Linksys E2500 router and I was wondering how would you replace a router? We have verizon internet phone and tv service including a router(which is old and kept disconnecting from the internet that is why we bought a new one). So do I just unplug the old router and plug in the new one and set it up or i have to do some more technical stuff i have no idea about. Thanks for your answers!!
just found out that they verizon “router” is actually a modem but can act as a router as well so, if i plug this router into it will there be problems since it is already having a connection?
