Can I use modchip on PS3 slim?

I just bought a brand new PS3 slim today. I haven;t updated anything yet. Just wondering if it is possible to use mod chip on it so I can back up my games

ok here we go… about 2 weeks ago, i got out my ps2 of the storage, because we (me and my sister) found a game that we know all series, is “The legend of spyro’ the thing: before i put my ps2 on the storage, i learned how to acces to the matrix infinity menu, so i dont remember what i do, but, know i cant run this game, (well i cant run not even Metal gear solid 2 and 3), so, i want to know what can i do to fix this, PLZ help!!!!!!!

How to burn and play Playstation original games?!?

Well, I know people have done it, so how would I do it? I want to back up my Playstation games to CD-R’s, but I have no clue how. Help? FYI, I have a CD burner and 25 blank CD-R80’s. Try me.

P.S. Do I HAVE to have a modchip, or can I just use a boot disc.

Can I downgrade a PS3 3.55 to 3.41?

I have the mod chip for 3.41. But worried what would happen to my PS3 system. Or should I do Restore PS3 System, first then try the upgrade or downgrade, Whichever the case may be? Anyone, Please help! Thanks!
